Reality Reading and writing; a term I coined for the genre of writing that I do…
There is such deep fascination, for reality TV shows, many really thinking they are true, yet in "reality" these shows are not … They are “entertainment and theater”, most are staged, and the show’s producer, will place the characters, into situations, and tell them to cut it up, with each other. The more convoluted the better… We love to see others, with issues, helps us through our own…
My eBooks are combinations of “my reality” and/or those who I write about, I try to use photos a great deal to give a visual, as well as the written word… I can be tacky, pushy, over the top, filled with, satire, I question things to a fault at times, I attempt to rip, the truth out of everything, most of the time … and those are just my good points … Many think, I lean towards being a feminist, yet I think, myself to be a “hybrid traditionalist” another term coined here., I do have “old fashion” values, in many things, maybe even older than the church has, I go all the way back in “tradition”; I believe in such things, as married priests, such as St. Peter was.
Great art has dreadful manners.
"The greatest paintings grab you in a headlock, rough up your composure, and then proceed in short order to re-arrange your reality” … Simon Schema My writing has similar dreadful manners ...... I write to tell a story, not win a High School, Essay Contest...
If you are "uptight" with your prose ... you will find my eBooks, painful at times...If you believe, writing to be an art form and as such there are many ways, to paint a picture, walk into my “museum” of personal expression, read my eBooks…
It might help, if you look at me as a “literary Picasso” … he placed ears and other body parts were they did not belong the man must have driven, the “classical artists” crazy with his work …
He was called insane, by some … the spark of wild expression, he had … Such is my writing style, “wild expression”… not for the faint of “tolerance” in any area …
As in all things of art form; dealing with matters proactively most will find beauty or be repulsed by it.
It will either be unforgettable or unforgivable to the viewer. I see religions to be in crisis, and none more so than my native religion which is Roman Catholicism.
So I write, about my experiences within my church …. Is a matter of compliance, within the laity, versus the power within the hierarchy….. What went wrong and how did the foundation of a church, set on a man called Peter….. How did the thoughts of those in power, override the mission of Christ, upon Peter. ????
Is it a matter of absolute power corrupts absolutely or is it more sinister? The high jacking of the church of its original intent; by its divine founder, Jesus Christ;
This site and my eBooks with Kindle are “spiritually based, as to my reality”; dealing with my church. Hence I am a “kindled spirit” of a kindred soul, who seeks truth and transparency in what she believes, to be an instrument of Jesus Christ….. the Roman Catholic Church.
my “warning label on this blog” … like a movie is rated G or PG or R …I have a warning label … 11 years ago when I started writing my eBooks … I hired a graphic artist (for my book jackets) an Editor to “clean up my writing” and a word smith (who is expert on word usage and substituting distasteful (aka 4 letter words) and words used to many times in your story …
